              <description>The National Museum of Montserrat located in Little Bay opened its doors to the public on Friday March 2nd 2012, some eight months after work commenced.  The building was officially opened to a large crowd by TRH Prince and Princess Edward, the Earl and Countess of Wessex. </description>

              <title>Montserrat’s 50th Festival Anniversary Logo Design Competition</title>
              <description>The Department of Culture launches its Official Logo Competition for the 50th (Golden Jubilee) Anniversary of Montserrat’s Annual Festival, to be held during December 2012 at Festival City, Montserrat. The deadline for all submissions will be 4pm on 27th February 2012. The winning design will appear in some form on all promotional materials for the Festival. This includes posters, mugs, programs, trophies, and the coveted ‘Official Festival T-shirts\'. The winner will receive EC$1500, a T-shirt with the winning design.
