FERRY SERVICE FROM ANTIGUA (currently out of service till early September for maintenance work)
Ferry services have resumed between Montserrat and Antigua. The MV Fjortof, partially owned by the Government of Antigua & Barbuda and the Government of Montserrat, is now providing the service, leaving from the Deep Water Harbour in St Johns, Antigua and coming into the Port of Little Bay in Montserrat. The current schedule, which is subject to change, is as follows:

.jpg) The fares for the ferry service is EC$125.00 for a one-way-trip (EC$250.00 for an adult return trip and children under 12 pays EC$120). Children under 12 years old will pay EC$60 one way. Each passenger is allowed 2 pieces of baggage free of charge and any additional baggage is charged at EC $50.00 per piece. To facilitate ticketing, check-in and other clearances at the point of sale at the ports, passengers are required to CHECK-IN 60 minutes before the schedule time for departure in Montserrat and 90 minutes in advance when travelling from Antigua. NO ADVANCE TICKETING IS REQUIRED.

WINAIR FLIGHTS
The St. Maarten-based Windward Islands Airways International N.V. (WinAir) provides Montserrat with daily scheduled flights from Antigua. WINAIR uses its nineteen (19) seater DHC-6 PropJet aircraft and its BNI seven (7) seater (islander) Aircraft. All with two pilots and WinAir's 47 years of experience as a scheduled Caribbean regional airline. The airline currently operates two (2) return flight per day with the first flight leaving Antigua for Montserrat at 6:30 a.m., returning at 7:00 am. The second flight leaves Antigua for Montserrat at 4:50 p.m., returning to Antigua at 5:20 p.m. Flights can be booked directly with WinAir at www.fly-winair.com or by contacting your travel agent.

FLY MONTSERRAT
This Montserrat based airline offers scheduled and charter flights in and out of Montserrat using three (3) nine-seater Britten Norman Islander aircraft. The airline currently operates two (2) return flight per day with the first flight leaving Montserrat for Antigua at 9:00 a.m., returning at 10:00 am. The second flight leaves Montserrat at 12:30 p.m., returning to Montserrat at 5:30 p.m. From October 1, 2010 the airline will add two (2) additional return flights to its schedule and from December 16th, 2010, a fifth flight.
Scheduled flights can be booked via their website which now has an online booking engine. From Febraury 8th, 2010, FlyMontserrat's check-in and ticketing agent in Antigua will be the Virgin Atlantic desk, adjacent to the customs hall at the VC Bird Airport.
Fly Montserrat continues to offer on-demand charters to Antigua, Anguilla, Guadeloupe, St Kitts, Tortola and other islands (see their website for complete list of islands). Day trips from these neighbouring islands, freight movements and round-the-island flyover trips can also be arranged.

Sailing Trips from Antigua with OnDeck
The Antiguan-based company Ondeck has started providing weekly sailing trips to Montserrat on a 65-footer Farr Ocean Racing Yacht. The yacht departs Falmouth Harbour in Antigua at 8am on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, with the trip to Little Bay in Montserrat taking up to four hours. The return journey to Antigua departs at 1pm on those same days, taking up to five hours. The return trip costs US$189.00 (approx. £108.70) and is fully flexible to allow passengers to stay longer in Montserrat or overnight.

Departure Tax
There is a departure tax and airport security tax which is payable upon leaving Montserrat: US$13 (EC$35.00) for CARICOM nationals and US$21 (EC$55) for all other nationals.
