Montserrat is an ideal stop for yachts and other small craft, which can anchor safely at Little Bay in the North of the island. A number of yachts currently call into Montserrat, especially following Sailing Week in Antigua, which is held at the end of April/early May. While the yachting sector is still quite small, there is a huge potential for expansion, especially as there are plans to develop a yacht marina and new town at Little Bay. Yatches and pleasure crafts with eight (8) or less occupants EC$50 per hour for a minimum of 2 hours for weekdays and EC$60 per hour for a minimum of 2 hours on weekends and public holidays for each officer in attendance.
