Montserrat is located in the Caribbean, approximately 50 miles southwest of Antigua. The island is approximately 16 km long (N-S) and 10 km wide (E-W) and consists of four main mountain massifs: Silver Hill, Centre Hills, Soufrière Hills and South Soufrière Hills.
