Also take note that arrangements are being made for the MV Caribe Sun to be certified by the French Authorities to allow operations to commence from Montserrat to Guadeloupe.
The normal fares for the ferry service are EC$300 return plus EC$35.00 tax for nationals, $45.00 for non nationals & $10.00 security charge, (EC$150 one way) for adults, EC$150 return for children between 2 and 12 years and EC$50 for infants below 2 years. No advance ticketing is required, as travellers can purchase their tickets upon check-in. However, to facilitate ticketing, check-in and other clearances at the point of sale at the ports, passengers are asked to check-in 90 minutes in advance when travelling from Antigua and 60 minutes before the scheduled time for departure from Montserrat. Each passenger is allowed 2 pieces of baggage free and any additional baggage is charged at $50.00 per piece.

Proof of citizenship is required. A valid passport is recommended for all visitors; however, US, Canadian and British citizens may present a driver's license or official ID card as proof of citizenship. Entry visas may be required of visitors from other countries such as Cuba and Eastern Bloc Countries, and can be obtained from British Consulate offices. For Visa Requirements Information and Application visit https://www.immigration.ms/guide An onward or return ticket is required. CARICOM citizens can travel on an official ID card, which must bear a photograph of the individual. There shall be proof of accommodation and one must possess sufficient funds to sustain one’s self for the length of the visit.
The Antiguan-based company Ondeck provides sailing trips to Montserrat based on requests on a 60-footer Farr Ocean Racing Yacht. The yacht departs Falmouth Harbour in Antigua at 8am, with the trip to Little Bay in Montserrat taking up to four hours. The return journey to Antigua departs at 1pm on those same days, taking up to five hours. The return trip costs US$189.00 (approx 108.70)and is fully flexible to allow passengers to stay longer in Montserrat or overnight.
