Financed by FIFA's Goal Programme this beautiful floodlit football field in Blakes, located just past Lookout, was opened in 2002. With its lush green grass and spectacular views of the ocean and mountains, this field is quite a sight. This field is already being used to help Montserrat gain a foothold in international football, helping the reformed national team gain valuable experience by hosting friendlies against visiting European teams. Although the facility is still missing amenities such as dressing rooms and stands, these will be put in the next construction phase.
