Alliouagana Festival of the Word - November 11th -13th, 2012

From November 11-13, 2011, literary enthusiasts are invited to attend Montserrat’s third annual literary festival, the Alliouagana Festival of the Word. The three-day event will bring together, acclaimed writers and readers from the Caribbean, North America, the UK and Australia for readings, conversations, lectures, panel discussions and workshops.

During the three-day event, visitors will also have the opportunity to view the Soufriere Hills Volcano, explore Montserrat’s slopes and mountainous vistas on the many hiking trails, catch a glimpse of the Montserrat Oriole while bird watching and tour the picturesque tropical landscape of the island.
